O’Dwyer Technical Services, LLC has a combined training background of over 25 years instructing both “Qualified and Un-Qualified” electrical workers as well as production managers, engineers, risk managers, auditors, etc.
Our courses are all customer specific as we tailor each course to the clients’ specific industry and skill set of the target audience. Our goal is to provide the utmost transfer of information possible. This is accomplished with Pre and Post exams, student manuals and instructors who are Subject Matter Experts with extensive exposure to the courses offered.

OTS has the ability to provide consulting services for a variety issues that greatly affect the system reliability of critical systems but also addresses the need for formal policies pertaining to both formal Electrical Safety and Lock-Out Tag-Out concerns.
We evaluate Job Task and Job Hazard analysis’s, SOS’s, existing policies and procedures, skill set of workers, etc., This will allow us to understand the needs and issues that affect the worker as well as the risk exposure to the company.
The purpose of these efforts is to ensure that the company will be in compliance to the latest governmental and industry standards to ensure clear understanding for all involved.
Arc Flash Studies
The intent of an Arc Flash study is to determine both Flash and Shock Hazard Boundaries and how it affects the worker exposed to various systems throughout their facilities.
One of the most dangerous situations that electrical workers are exposed to is the unknown incident energy rated in Cal/cm2 in systems as low as 208 VAC.
We address the needs of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment also known as PPE based upon the Incident Energy present. This study will also address the Prohibited, Restricted and Limited boundaries as described in NFPA 70E.
